Check out my website to see my creations, use the navigation bar to see my steampunk creations both large and small ... or scroll across to see my older work (Wine Charms etc.).
As of Jan 1st 2020 my art is available in Studio 34B of the Spanish Village Art Centre in Balboa Park, San Diego. Although my art is available all week we take it in turns to be there so do check in with me first if you really want to meet me.
I've also dragged myself into modern times and you can now also follow me on Instagram, see my QR Code above. I will be using my Instagram for my steampunk work.

Shows
In both 2023 and 2024 I took part in the San Diego Coastal Art Studio and Garden tour, making it to the front cover in the local newspaper! I will be there again on September 13th 2025 (but at a different house).
A piece of my art work was showing at the cultural institution Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) in Berlin, Germany, it has since been to Italy and will soon be in a show in New York. The concept of this part of the show was to use a tutorial by Philip Wiegard and I used it for the background adding my steampunk fish proposal to it. The piece is titled "Moonlit Proposal".
In the past Kathy and I have participated in the Encinitas Craft Fair, the Seaside Bazaar (in Encinitas), private home Trunk Shows, our Polymer Clay Guild’s store, a corporate event in La Jolla and at Rancho Bernardo Winery for their annual Spring and Fall Arts and Craft Fairs in May and October.
In 2021 I did my first Steampunk Expo in San Diego. What a perfect place it was to show my art! I also had my work in a local gallery in 2021 Then in 2022 and 2023 I showed my work in the library at Cardiff-by-the -Sea.
Use the contact button (top right) if you feel you'd like to host a show and are in the Carlsbad, California area.

About the Artist
I'm from England and moved to Southern California late in 2010. In England there was plenty of time to be indoors and I have always been passionate about making things, attempting everything from Basket Weaving and Embroidery to Stained Glass, Silver Smithing and even Glass Blowing but nothing has really stuck with me ... until now. Polymer Clay is amazingly versatile and I just love creating with it. I have tried some wonderful techniques and have so many more to try out.
My neighbour and good friend Kathy Hepburn (no not the actress) got me going on this and we have great fun seeing each others creations. Check out Kathy's 'earthy' works here!

Awards!
So I've not been entering many shows recently but the last time I did was for the Del Mar Faire in 2022, where my piece came 1st in polymer clay category. The picture itself is 4ft by 22" and then there's the frame on top of that!
